  As a pharmacy technician having to deal with this office, don't go here unless you can't go anywhere else. Frequently prescribes meds that patients are allergic to, hard to get ahold of, sends prescription to wrong pharmacies, and sometimes quite rude on the phone.

  We live downstate and came in as a "walk in" for my toddler daughter that had a fever and ear infections that weren't responding to oral antibiotics that were prescribed by our pediatrician. We arrived at 1:00 pm on Sunday and waited in the waiting room for 2 hours before we were called back and seen by the nurse and PA-C. PA-C couldn't tell if my daughters eardrums had ruptured or not, but they looked bad. Both the nurse and PA-C were friendly and attentive, office was clean. My daughter was given a Rocephin shot by the nurse. The next day, we were back downstate, and I called our pediatrician for a follow up appointment. I called Petoskey Urgent Care to fax the name of the antibiotic, Rocephin, and the dosage to our pediatrician's office. Petoskey Urgent Care faxed the wrong dosage. This is where my one star rating is coming from. My daughter could have been getting an extra unnecessary dose this week, had I not realized that the incorrect dosage had been sent. At our pediatrician's office, the pediatrician was also able to tell us that her eardrums had not ruptured.
